Jay Paris is a celebrated sports journalist and author of three sports books.

Paris has written Game Of My Life Chargers, Game Of My Life Rams, and his latest, Shohei Ohtani The Amazing Story Of Baseball’s Two-Way Japanese Superstar.

Paris has worked for the Orange County Register, the San Diego Union Tribune and the North County Times, where he covered the San Diego Chargers for more than 20 years. He now writes about the NFL in LA for forbes.com  and is a three-time recipient of awards from the Pro Football Writers Association of America.

He currently covers baseball for mlb.com and the Associated Press as a Hall of Fame voting member of the Baseball Writers’ Association of America.

Paris is the proud married father of two sons and he lives with his family in Cardiff, just north of San Diego.
