Support Cultural News by Your Donation to build bridges between US and Japan

Cultural News was born in 1998 to review and promote numerous Japanese cultural events that take place in Southern California and also outside the region.
Goals of Cultural News are deepening appreciation of Japanese culture and building bridges between U.S. and Japan by spreading Japanese art and culture.

In the spring of 2019, the non-profit Cultural News Association was formed to support the missions of Cultural News.

The Cultural News Association set the fund-raising goal at the amount of $30,000, annually.

Details in budget: Basic Operation $15,000 (Web hosting, email blast app subscriptions, communications, and office rental) Editorial Work $5,000 (Editing articles for Weekly Cultural News, and posts in www.culturalnews.com, and email-blast) Travel & Research $15,000 (covering Japanese cultural events in Los Angeles locally, US nationwide, and Japan)

The Cultural News Association wishes to Cultural News to become a community archive to forward Japanese and Japanese-American legacy to next generations.

After three years of hiatus, many cultural events and art exhibitions are coming back. Cultural News is preparing to increase its coverage now.

By October 2023, we have received approximate $10,000.

The Cultural News Association, would appreciate your donation, in any amount, to build bridges between U.S. and Japan.

Sincerely,

Shige Higashi
