Sakura made history as the only woman to represent the USA in karate at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, and she recently became the first kata athlete to win back-to-back gold medals at the Pan American Games!
As she continues to pursue her dreams of gold, Sakura is passionate about inspiring more girls and women to join the sport of karate.
Saturday, December 7
12pm-1pm: A fun panel discussion and Q&A with Sakura, followed by a karate demonstration and mini clinic in the ESGJCC gym.
1pm-2pm: Light refreshments, mingling, and a chance to take photos and chat with Sakura in the ESGJCC social hall.
