Another year has come, and the LELA (Lantern of the East) International Art Organization is once again holding an exhibition to promote peace and remember the victims of the atomic bomb in Japan.
Hideo Sakata, a survivor of the atomic bombing, dedicated his life to peace and made LELA a powerful voice for it. He carried the pain of war in his heart and used his experiences to inspire others to work for a more peaceful world. Today, LELA artists continue that mission—expressing the urgent need for peace through their work.

A special clay workshop with Kenta Takaki from Japan
Closing reception: August 31, 2025, 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
A memorial solo show honoring Michiko Smith-Cashman will be held immediately following closing reception from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
