Celebrate summer at the Orange County Buddhist Church’s (OCBC) annual Obon Festival as OCBC commemorates its 60th Anniversary.

Shuttle service to and from OCBC will be running throughout the festival.
Obon (Gathering of Joy) is an opportunity to memorialize deceased and reflect on the Dharma.
OCBC’s Daion and Seishun Taiko groups will have exciting performances at 4 and 6 pm Saturday and Sunday.
OCBC closes out each evening at 6:30 pm with Bon Odori Dancing. All are encouraged to participate.
Food booths will be selling fresh corn, teriyaki beef and chicken, grilled ika (squid), wontons, sata andagi, spam musubi, imagawayaki, dango dogs, chicken salad, shaved ice, boba teas, sushi, somen, and baked goods.
Play fun games and win prizes. Shop at the boutique and white elephant sale for unique gifts and items for the home.

OCBC offers Obon Dance Practice Sessions in the OCBC parking lot on the following dates from 7 to 8 PM: June 30, July 2, 7, 9, 14, & 16, 2025.
