The Little Tokyo Historical Society (LTHS) is having a sign unveiling ceremony at the location of the historic Fuji-Kan Theater (opened in 1925) which featured many Japanese films. We are also recognizing the amazing career of silent screen star Sessue Hayakawa whose films were shown at the Fuji-Kan.

Please come out on Wednesday, Oct. 30th at 10 am (see the flyer) at 324 E. First St., Los Angeles and join our City Councilmember Ysabel Jurado, and a representative of the Japanese Consul General, and to hear a special presentation by Prof. Daisuke Miyao from UCSD on the shining career of Sessue Hayakawa.
