KIMONOCON is pleased to announce KIMONO Market & Summer Festival 2026, taking place on June 6 and 7, 2026 at Redac Gateway Hotel in Torrance, California.
This two-day cultural event invites guests to experience the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese summer festival while exploring kimono, Japanese tea, wagashi sweets, traditional performing arts, and Japanese craftsmanship.

The event is designed for everyone—from longtime lovers of Japanese culture to first-time visitors looking to experience something new.
Guests can enjoy a variety of hands-on cultural workshops, including the highly popular Hitachiya knife sharpening demonstration and service, yukata dressing lessons, sencha tea brewing with a traditional kyusu teapot, hydrangea-themed nerikiri wagashi decorating, and wooden Japanese name tag accessory making.
Live performances throughout the weekend will feature Awa Odori dance by Aozora Ren, Kawachi Ondo Bon Odori, Sogetsu Ikebana demonstration, shamisen performance, and live music with piano, vocal, and flute.
The shopping area will feature a unique selection of vendors offering kimono, Japanese goods, sashiko, jewelry, wagashi sweets, Japanese tea, sake, as well as artisan bread, luxury chocolate, and other specialty foods.
Guests will also receive complimentary gifts from event sponsors while supplies last, including snacks from Bourbon, beverage samples from Kimino, and a chance to win Ajino Hyoshiro dashi packs through a giveaway drawing.
