Awaya-Kai Koto Music Featured at “Library in Concert” Series of Torrance Public Library at El Retiro Library Saturday, July 11 at 2PM
Torrance Public Library presents “Library in Concert” featuring kotoist Yoko Awaya and oboe player Naomi Ozawa at El Retiro Library, 126 Vista Del Parque, Redondo Beach, CA 90277, on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at 2:00 pm. Free admission.
Awaya and Ozawa will be accompanied by Awaya-Kai members, Toshiko Okawa, Mitsue Barton, Kou Hasegawa and Jet Benjamin.
The songs that will be performed include Sakura Sakura, Akatonbo (Red Dragonfly) and Chidori no Kyoku (a koto classic piece)
