O’Jizo is an instrumental band of Irish music, founded in Japan in 2008 by 3 musicians: Kozo Toyota – Flute, Koji Nagao – Guitar, and Hirofumi Nakamura – Bouzouki and Accordion.

It released its first album, “Highlight”, in 2011. It composed and recorded the theme music of TV program, “Walking in Oregon – Long Trail Hiking ” in 2014.

In 2016, joined by local musicians, O’Jizo recorded an al-bum in Portland, Oregon and appeared in Galway Bay Celtic Music Festival at Ocean Shore, Washington.

Recently O’Jizo released its 2nd album, “Via Portland.” http://www.ojizo.org/
