Arizona Matsuri Festival is featuring Japanese exhibits, demonstrations, arts and crafts, children’s activities, bonsai displays, Japanese food, Japanese beer and sake garden, games and contests, and live entertainment on 4 stages throughout Heritage & Science Park in Downtown Phoenix.

Opening Parade and Awaodori Dance
Saturday & Sunday at 10:00 a.m.
Meet at 9:30am in front of Science Museum

The opening ceremony and festival parade will be led with portable Omikoshi shrine box and Awa Odori dancers from Tokushima Ren dance team in Los Angeles at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday & Sunday.

The ceremony and parade begin near the Plaza Stage on Adam Street.
