We are excited to announce that TaikoProject is coming to Rio Hondo!
TaikoProject is one of the country's leading professional taiko drum ensembles.
Utilizing authentic instruments hand-crafted in Japan, the performers weave traditional and modern forms of taiko together and share elements of their Japanese and Japanese-American culture in this special noontime performance.
The performance will take place on 9/16/21, outdoors on campus at noon to a limited and well-spaced audience on the lower-quad’s lawn. We will also live stream the event on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/RioHondoArt for those who would like to join virtually.
