This year, on April 13th and 14th (2024), we’re excited to welcome classical musicians from New York, who have previously supported Japan’s disaster relief efforts, as guest performers for our charity concert supporting the Noto Peninsula earthquake relief.

Additionally, we plan to hold another charity concert later in the summer to cater to different tastes.  This concert event will be held on June 2nd, 2024.

As we continue to raise funds for the Noto Peninsula earthquake relief, especially amidst the lingering cold and shortages of support materials, we rely heavily on the support of volunteers and sponsor companies.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to those who have consistently donated every year since the inception of our concerts.  We’d also like to thank our recent supporters, including Shin-Sen-Gumi Group, Chinchikurin Hiroshima Okinomiyaki, Chikaramochi Japanese sweets, YamaChan Ramen, Otafuku Foods, Takaoka-ya and Sapporo Beer.  And a special thanks to Kaoru Miyajima for donating handmade pottery.

On April 13th, alongside our New York guests, we’ll have performances by students and teachers from the IRVINE YAMAHA MUSIC CENTER.  Notably, Landon Kroon, a 13-year-old invited to perform in Tokyo as the US representative for YAMAHA Junior Original Concert, will be joining us on both days.

On April 14th, as a token of gratitude for their support during the Ukrainian relief efforts two years ago, six members of the “Ukrainian Mosaic Orchestra” will perform alongside our other acts, including traditional Japanese folk music, shamisen groups, and choruses.

On June 2nd, our program will focus on local bands using sound equipment, alongside performances by hip-hop dancers and classical ballet dancers.

We hope to attract more compassionate individuals to contribute to the reconstruction efforts in Ishikawa Prefecture.  Attached are the three posters detailing the events and performers for our three upcoming concerts.

We sincerely appreciate your support.
