The Japanese Institute of Sawtelle (JIS) schedules Grand Opening Ceremony for September 7, 2024, at the JIS. Invitation only.
Only one year short of the centennial anniversary, JIS will undergo significant renovations in 2024 which were made possible only with the strong support of our community and many generous donors.
JIS is also happy to announce that JIS will open the Terasaki Japanese Immersion Preschool at the end of year 2024. The opening of Terasaki Pre-School will be the main concept under JIS Renovation.
The open house will be held after the ceremony.
