Rancho Cucamonga, CA – Beloved Japanese confectionery brand ROKKATEI has officially opened its first store outside of Japan in Rancho Cucamonga, a suburb of Los Angeles, California. The grand opening took place on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025, at the Victoria Gardens Shopping Center.
Founded in 1933 in Tokachi, Hokkaido—Japan’s dairy heartland, Rokkatei is renowned throughout Japan for its exquisite sweets, elegant packaging, and the deeply rooted philosophy that “sweets are a barometer of culture.”

After more than a decade of planning and focusing on global expansion, Rokkatei is finally ready to open its doors and share a taste of Hokkaido with the world. In the summer of 2025, Rokkatei launched its first international location in Southern California, bringing their iconic treats to new hands and hearts in the United States.
