Glendale, CA – The City of Glendale invites the community to the Inaugural Glendale Cultural Festival on Sunday, October 4, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Artsakh Paseo in Downtown Glendale. This free, family-friendly celebration will showcase the diverse cultures, heritage, and traditions that make Glendale a vibrant and connected community.
The festival will celebrate cultural traditions connected to Glendale’s Sister Cities in Armenia, Dominican Republic, Japan, Mexico, Philippines, and South Korea, while also honoring the cultural legacy of Martuni, Artsakh. Guests can enjoy an afternoon and evening of cultural performances, live music, food, art, and bringing the community together in celebration of Glendale’s international connections.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:
The festival will feature cultural performances representing South Korea, Mexico, Japan, the Philippines, the Dominican Republic, and Armenia, including Korean drums and dance, Mexican cultural dance, a Japanese koto instrumental performance, Philippine and Dominican Republic cultural dance performances, Armenian dance and music, and live music throughout the evening.

Glendale has a history of hosting large-scale multicultural celebrations, including a similar event called UnityFest in the early 2000s, which drew more than 20,000 attendees.
