2014 / Japanese language teachers to present workshop, April 13

Teachers of Japanese in Southern California (TJSC) will present the Spring 2014 Workshop at Notre Dame High School (13645 Riverside Drive, Sherman Oaks, CA 91423) from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Sunday, April 13, 2014. 

The keynote is “Language Instruction Based on Students’ Backgrounds: Age, Learning Environments, and Motivation,” lectured by Dr. Setsue Shibata from California State University, Fullerton and Dr. Asako Hayashi-Takakura from University of California Los Angeles.

TJSC is a non-profit organization in Southern California and is comprised of individuals who are either a teacher in an organization or academic institution teaching various levels of Japanese, a student of the Japanese language, and/or an individual who is interested in Japanese language or culture education.
