2013 / Teachers of Japanese language to meet for workshop, Nov. 3

Teachers of Japanese in Southern California (TJSC) will present the “Fall 2013 Workshop” on Sunday, Nov. 3, from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm at Japan Foundation, Los Angeles, located at 5700 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 100, Los Angeles, CA 90036. 

The keynote is “Differentiated Instruction”, lectured by Dr. Hiroko Kataoka and Dr. Masako Douglas from California State University, Long Beach.  

Ms. Nobue Kato and Ms. Noriho Uriu from Orange Coast Gakuen, a Saturday Japanese school, will present sample lessons. 

TJSC is a non-profit organization in Southern California and is comprised of individuals who are either a teacher in an organization or academic institution teaching various levels of Japanese, a student of the Japanese language, and/or an individual who is interested in Japanese language or culture education.
