Comprised of Little Tokyo leaders and other dance enthusiasts, the Little Tokyo Dance Troupe has been performing for the past five years under the direction of choreographer Takamaru Koba and former Nisei Week “Miss Tomodachi” Barbara Endo Uemura. Geta tap blends American tap dancing with Japanese “geta” (wooden sandals).
