FandangObon is Back!
A community based art project in collaboration with Quetzal and the Japanese American Cultural & Community Center, that brings together the Mexican, Japanese and African communities around three participatory music and dance folk forms: Fandango Son Jarocho, Obon and Egungun.

A day of music, dance, art and workshops at the Japanese American Cultural & Community Center’s Noguchi Plaza, 244 South San Pedro Street in Little Tokyo, Downtown Los Angeles.
Experience the traditions of Fandango of Veracruz, Mexico, Japanese Buddhist obon circle dances, and West African dance and drums.
