In “The Golden Era of J-POP: Kayo-Kyoku from the Showa 1980s” Toshi Cappuccino sings Japanese POP hits from the Bubble in between doses of standup comedy.

Toshi started performing in New York in 2004. Since then, his boutique performances have consistently sold out in NY and as far away as Akron, Columbus, Seattle, Honolulu, Toronto, and too many cities to list in Japan.

In 2019 he was invited to perform at the Japanese Festival which is the largest one in San Paulo, Brazil. In 2017, 2018 and 2019 he sang the Japanese anthem on Opening Day at the Fukuoka Dome baseball stadium.

A native of Hakata (Fukuoka), he is a combination entertainer, critic, producer, and occasional TV personality. So far this year he has performed in NY, Columbus, and Seattle. Now he’s coming to Los Angeles for his first show ever. After the LA show he will jet immediately off on his 2023 Japan tour.
