01/01/2026 (Thu) Oshogatsu Matsuri New Year's Festival
The Japanese Chamber of Commerce of Southern California (JCCSC) will host its annual tradition of bringing in the New Year on January 1, 2026 at Weller Court and the Japanese Village Plaza in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles.
Experience the Japanese way of celebrating the New Year of 2026. From entertainment, food, children’s cultural activities, and a sake fest, it is one of the most exciting events to take place in the Japanese community.
The event will feature traditional Japanese food, entertainment and cultural activities such as mochi making, taiko, lion dance, aikido, minyo folk songs & dance, shorin kempo, kimono fashion show, kendo, ondo dance, and much more!
Please join us and celebrate peace, love and joy with the community on New Year's Day.
The New Year celebration is organized by both JCCSC and JCCF.
