GLENDALE, CA — The annual Cherry Blossom Festival returns to Shoseian “Whispering Pine” Teahouse at Brand Park, 1601 West Mountain St., Glendale, CA, on Sunday, March 15, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This vibrant celebration invites the community to experience the beauty of cherry blossoms and Japanese culture through a day of performances, exhibits, and traditional tea ceremonies.
2026 Cherry Blossom Festival at Shoseian Teahouse is supported by the Consulate General of Japan in Los Angeles and the City of Glendale.
Tea Ceremonies at Shoseian Teahouse
Guests can enjoy authentic Urasenke tea ceremonies presented by the UCLA Student Chado Club and Nakada Shachu. Ceremonies are scheduled at 10:00–10:45 AM, 12:00–12:45 PM, and 1:30–2:15 PM. Seating inside the teahouse is limited and requires an advanced paid reservation ($25 per person).
