On August 14-16, Matsubayashi-Ryu Karate-Do of Los Angeles are honored to welcome Yoshitaka Taira, 10th dan, Hanshi and Kaicho (Chairman) of the World Matsubayashi-Ryu Karate-Do Association (WMKA), back to Los Angeles, for the first time in over 25 years.
Taira Kaicho hosts a 3-day seminar open to the World Matsubayashi-Ryu Karate-Do (WMKA) members worldwide, along with two other Okinawan instructors. This seminar at the Terasaki Budokan in Little Tokyo runs in conjunction with 2026 Nisei Week.
