2012 Oldest ikebana school presents 550th anniversary exhibition, Sept 22-23

Ikenobo Ikebana Society of Los Angeles presents a flower arrangement exhibition by its members on Sept. 22 and 23 at Doizaki gallery of the Japanese American Cultural and Community Center in Little Tokyo, Downtown Los Angeles.

The year 2012 is the 550th anniversary of the Ikebana Ikenobo recorded history. All of Ikenobo’s 400 local branches in Japan and 40 local branches in the US are presenting the exhibition under the 550th Anniversary theme during the year of 2012.

The Ikenobo Ikebana exhibition opens from 10 am – 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Free admission.
