
Memorial service for Senator Daniel Inouye at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. will be webcast live on Friday, Dec 21 at 10:30 am (EST)
At a memorial service for Senator Daniel Inouye, the Right Rev. Mariann Edgar Budde, bishop of Washington, will officiate, and retired Rear Admiral Barry C. Black, the Senate chaplain, will deliver the sermon.
They will join with other officials in honoring Senator Inouye, including tributes offered by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and the Hon. Eric Shinseki, Secretary of Veterans Affairs.
House Speaker John Boehner will also attend to honor the life of the most senior U.S. senator, who had been serving in Congress since Hawaii became a state in 1959.
